Godiva Festival
This year’s Godiva Festival is set to be an unforgettable event, with a fantastic line-up of artists and plenty of family-friendly activities. Taking place in Coventry’s War Memorial Park from Friday 30 June – Sunday 2 July, festival tickets are incredible value and it promises to be a great day out for all.
Headliners for this year’s event are Coventry indie-rockers, The Enemy, who will be taking the main slot on Friday night. Saturday sees UK dance act Rudimental on the Main Stage with a DJ set, and they’ll be supported by RnB artist, Ella Eyre. Former Spice Girl, Melanie C will be closing this year’s festival with a headline set on Sunday evening.
Other acts across the weekend include DJ Trevor Nelson, dance troupe of Britain’s Got Talent fame, Diversity, soul and disco act, Odyssey and 2-tone band, The Selecter. The Next Stage will be taken over by Ghost Town DJs on the Saturday night, and will see sets from Donae’o, Paisley Jenson, Oneman B2B with Zed Bias and many more.
In addition to the music, there are plenty of other activities for families to enjoy. This year’s family theme is ‘Let’s Go Wild’ and the family field will see roaming dinosaurs, ancient trees and mischievous sloths. The festival offers a range of fun and interactive experiences across the weekend, including arts and crafts workshops, storytelling sessions, and a dedicated family area with a sports zone. There’s also a variety of food and drink vendors on offer, selling everything from traditional festival delights to international street food.
Day tickets are still available and start at just £8 for adults. Family day tickets are also available and these start at just £23 for a family of four, or £25 for a family of five.
For the first time ever, this year’s Godiva Festival will have a festival garden experience through Premium Zone tickets. The festival garden is the most luxurious way to get the Godiva Festival experience and is the ultimate hangout area with access to an exclusive bar, hot food options, posh loos, phone charging, cloakroom and much more. Tickets for this area cost £55 per day.
