Paradise Wildlife Park

Paradise Wildlife Park is voted Hertfordshire’s ‘No.1 Outdoor Attraction’ by Trip Advisor and is set in the beautiful surroundings of Broxbourne Woods, in the heart of the Hertfordshire Countryside.

The zoo is home to over 800 exotic wild animals, from the biggest tiger species, Amur tigers, to the world’s smallest known monkey the pygmy marmoset and also exhibits the largest green anaconda on display in the UK. The newest areas of the zoo are the habitats called ‘Sun Bear Heights’ and ‘Jaguar Jungle’ and living with the sun bears are a binturong and a pair of Asian small-clawed otters, in a UK-first mixed species habitat.

Visitors can also meet over 40 life-size moving and roaring dinosaurs at the incredible World of Dinosaurs attraction – a real thrill for any dinosaur adventurer!. It is one of the UK’s biggest and most spectacular animatronic dinosaur attractions, set in acres of natural woodland.

For memories that last, families can have a meal with a tiger view in Bamboo Kitchen or choose to have a fast-food adventure in the Safari Diner. A stop off at Sun Bear Bakery is highly recommended, where visitors can gaze at the sun bears as they eat a delicious pastry or two.

Paradise is also Europe’s leading zoo for animal experiences where visitors can meet mischievous meerkats in a Meet the Meerkat experience and hand feed one of the white lions in the Big Cat Experience. All the funds raised from these animal experiences go directly to the conservation and welfare of the animals in the zoos care and in the wild. Why not plan a visit – the wildlife is waiting for you!

Paradise Wildlife Park/The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire is situated 20 miles north of London, 7 miles from Junction 25 on the M25 and approximately 25 minutes from London Liverpool Street by rail.
